Gazza back with Rangers

Trevor Steven
Gazza will be wearing the number 9 shirt for Rangers as they take on a Bradford City team in Stuart McCall's testimonial game tomorrow afternoon at The Bradford and Bingley Pulse home of Mr. Pompous Valley Parade Stadium.

He will be joined by ex-Claret Trevor Steven who will also be in the Rangers side and Steven will be wearing the number 9 shirt. Confused, you will be, Rangers have named a squad of twenty and all of them will have the number nine on their backs whilst the Bradford City players will each wear different numbers but will include their nicknames on their shirts.

It seems strange and although many of the Rangers players are household names and will be instantly recognisable there it is definitely going to cause some confusion for some spectators.

The game looks as though it could have been set up by Mr. Pompous to get Rangers into English football although the self appointed Football League spokesman hasn't as yet indicated who will have to step aside for them.
