Robbie Blake - extended his lead at the top
The same three players finished in the top three in both the man of the match vote and the message board's player ratings and all of them scored four points in our Player of the Year table.

Kyle was by some distance the man of the match in our voting poll. He claimed no less than 40.7% of the vote to claim his second man of the match vote of the season having previously won it against West Brom.

He takes the three points whilst Robbie Blake picks up two points having finished in second place with 18.8% of the vote, and this despite playing just under an hour of the game. Two points then to Robbie and the last one to goalkeeper Gabor Kiraly who won 13.9% of the man of the match vote.

It was a reversal with the player ratings and Gabor, who won us the game with that superb late save from Jamie Cureton, scored the highest with an average rating of 8.06 out of 10. He just won the three points from Robbie who was so close to him with an average of 8.03 whilst Kyle was in third place with 7.36.

That gives all three of the players four points each. It strengthens Robbie's lead from Clarke Carlisle at the top whilst Kyle inches closer to the top three and Gabor takes his position in the top ten.

The voting for today's game against Southampton will start this evening and run until the end of Tuesday, after which we will have the October Goal of the Month vote on the site.
