Frank teams up with Legend

Frank Sinclair
He signed for the Imps last summer after being released by Huddersfield and to date he's played 24 games for them. But the terms of his contract are such that he is entitled to another deal should he play 25 times, and that's why the deal has been allowed to go through.

Imps boss Peter Jackson explained: "Frank was due a new contract when he reached 25 games for us but when you look at our league position I've got to start planning for next season.

"I want to give some of my younger players an opportunity to impress. Danny Hone is only ten days away from a return, Moses Swaibu will start against Notts County on Saturday and I want to have a look at young Kern Miller at first team level.

"Once Frank's loan spell us up he'll return when we'll sit down and go through things, but a lot depends on how the young lads get on."

So that means he'll team up once more with Legend in his own mind Peter Taylor at Wycombe. They were together at Leicester a few years ago and Taylor said: "I wanted a bit of experience for our nine games between now and the end of the season and that's exactly what he'll bring."

Sinclair, now 37, left Burnley just over two years ago, and has now played in over 600 games at club and international level and needs to play just four more games to reach 500 league appearances. He should reduce that to three this Saturday by lining up for Wycombe against Shrewsbury.
