Fox speculation continues

It came out of the blue but the media have now latched onto it with suggestions that we've made Celtic an offer similar to the £1.5 million they paid Coventry for him during the summer.

The 23-year-old started his career with Everton but didn't break through into the first team. His first team debut came during a loan spell at Stranraer before he signed for Walsall in 2005.

His form with the Saddlers led to a move to Coventry and he was one of the best left backs in the league last season with the Sky Blues. That prompted Tony Mowbray to pay £1.5 million to take him to Celtic where he's played regularly in the team until a recent injury. His last appearance was in the Old Firm game on 3rd January.

Latest news suggests the player is considering his options. Brian Laws and Burnley have remained tight lipped on this and any other transfer deals we might be looking to make.
