Former loan players on the move

Guidetti agreed a deal with FC Twente Enschede in the summer but then pulled out of the move, citing the fact that his agent wasn't present when the contract was signed, and returned to Manchester City.

Hopefully he didn't have a problem with Holland because that's exactly where he's gone now with City, yesterday  loaning him to Eredivisie side Feyenoord for the rest of the season.

He scored 17 goals for City's elite development squad last season, and netted once for Burnley in the 2-1 win at Barnsley, our first away win of the season.

He's no longer part of City'e development squad this season and, like our loan players Kieran Tripper and Ben Mee, would have struggled to get much football in 2011/12 season without a loan move.

Whilst Guidetti was packing his backs for Holland, Everton central defender Shane Duffy was preparing for a loan move in League One with recently relegated Scunthorpe United.

Duffy joined Burnley for a month on loan last season but played just the one game, a 2-1 defeat against Ipswich. He was left out of the side for the next game at Leicester and spent the rest of his loan on the subs bench before returning to Goodison Park.

As was the case when he signed for Burnley, Duffy is currently on international duty with the Republic of Ireland under-21s, but will head for Glanford Park where he has signed initially for a month.
