Forest would like Eagles to fly in

With that relegation confirmed it was thought that would see him having played his last game for the club, but the lack of speculation linking him with other clubs since the end of the season has been noticeable.

Today, however, he has been linked with a move away, but to another Championship club with Billy Davies keen to take him to Nottingham Forest as he looks to build on a season that saw them reach the play offs before losing to Blackpool in the semi-final.

Eagles has one year remaining on his contract at Turf Moor and so Forest would have to make a sizeable offer if we were to consider allowing him to move on to a club who could well be one of our promotion rivals next season.
