Fletcher soars to the top

Fletcher won both the man of the match vote and the player ratings on the message board in a game where he scored our second goal and made a brilliant contribution for the third and point winning goal with his header across the box for scorer Kevin McDonald.

It won him the man of the match comfortably, polling 51.4% of the vote. Chris Eagles, on his third league start of the season, was second with 13.1% and just behind Tyrone Mears came third with a rating of 12.6%.

The same three players took the points, and in the same order, in the player ratings on the message board. Again Fletcher was a big winner with a rating of 8.33 out of 10. Eagles had a rating of 7.48 to come second whilst Mears was rated at 7.26 in third place.

Fletcher picked up the maximum six points towards the player of the year and there were four points for Eagles and two for Mears.

These three players now hold the top three positions with Fletcher two points clear of Mears who is a further five points ahead of Eagles.
