Owen Coyle - could smash the club's transfer record for Fletcher
Yesterday's press were linking Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce with a move for the striker and it is believed Celtic are keen, but this morning there is news that Owen Coyle has offered the SPL club £2.75 million for him.

The 22-year-old Fletcher was born in Shropshire but moved to Scotland and has now become a Scottish international with four caps. He recently scored his first goal for the Scots against Iceland in a 2-1 win.

For Hibs he has netted over fifty goals in almost 190 appearances since making his debut at the end of the 2003/04 season.

Along with Tyrone Mears and David Edgar, Fletcher appears to be a very definite and serious target.
