That was the reported fee when Fletcher joined Burnley last summer from Hibs on a four year deal. Since then he's been a regular in our Premier League team, missing only when a broken bone in his hand kept him out.
He's scored eight Premier League goals for us and has proved himself at this level. There is no way we would sell him for that price, or indeed at all. I think the Bolton manager might have to look elsewhere or come up with a far more significant offer than that.
West Brom's link is with Chris Eagles who Roberto Matteo would like to take to the Hawthorns for £1 million. Although the offer appears low it is potentially low it is possibly a more likely move than that of Fletcher.
In Eagles' case, he would be going into the last year of his contract at Turf Moor and he isn't first choice every week in the side. Even so, a fee of one million would surely have to be increased for Burnley to even consider it.
