Five get call ups

Besart Berisha - in Albania's squad for their game against Malta
Three of them will be involved in a European qualifier whilst the other two will be hoping to add to their caps in friendly games. Our three players from Northern Ireland are in competitive action. Michael Duff, Steve Jones and Kyle Lafferty have all been called up by Nigel Worthington for his first game in charge.

That game will be played at Windsor Park, a ground Worthington has already called to be replaced, against Liechtenstein as the Irish look to win a place in the finals in Austria and Switzerland next summer.

Joey Gudjonsson missed Iceland's last international for personal reasons but he's been named in their squad for a friendly against Canada and one of our summer signings Besart Berisha has been called up for Albania and they too will be involved in a friendly against Malta.

It must be quite some time since Burnley had five players on international duty at the same time, and good luck to all five of them and hopefully they will all pick up caps in two weeks time.
