David Eyres - another goal for Oldham
David Eyres was on target yet again for Oldham scoring their second in a 2-0 win against second place Brighton. Eyresy scored the second with just about ten minutes left with a free kick from about 20 yards out. The win sees Oldham in seventh place.

A couple of former loan players were also on the mark in 2nd Division games. Huddersfield's Craig Armstrong equalised with just 12 minutes left in their home game against Tranmere and they went on to win the game 2-1. At Blackpool John O'Kane scored for the home side to make the score 1-1 against Peterborough and it helped them to a point in a 2-2 draw.

In the 3rd Division Mark Yates was on the score sheet again for Cheltenham, he got the first in a 2-0 win at Exeter. The win keeps Cheltenham in 9th place and still in with a very good chance of making the play offs this season.
