It will not be the first visit there for a Burnley team, in fact we played there as recently as April last year when our Avon Insurance game against Oldham was moved there at the last minute. We won that night in a game that saw Mark Rasmussen make his Clarets’ debut.
The extra fixture will give Ronnie Jepson the opportunity to give his young squad another run out before the season starts and the possibility of one or two of the senior players being involved.
