Ex-Clarets want Chesterfield job

The two in question are David Reeves, who was on loan at Burnley during the 1987/88 season from Sheffield Wednesday, and central defender Steve Blatherwick who we signed from Nottingham Forest in the summer of 1997.
Both ended their league careers with Chesterfield and both are now coaches with Gainsborough Trinity where Reeves is assistant manager. They have admitted they lack the experience of other candidates but both have expressed a real desire to return to the club.
