Easton left Burnley at the end of the 2011/12 season and spent last season with SPL strugglers Dundee. He made 17 league appearances for the Tayside club but was released following their relegation.

He'd been a target for St. Johnstone but when manager Steve Lomas left it looked as if his chance of a move to Perth had gone. New boss Tommy Wright was just as keen to secure his signature and he clinched the deal on Monday with Easton signing a one year contract.

When Easton joined the Clarets the first choice left back was Stephen Jordan. He too was in Scotland last season, playing for Dunfermline but the season went badly wrong as the club went into administration.

Jordan was one of the players made redundant on 28th March 2013, just a day after he'd played his last game for them, a 2-0 home defeat against Falkirk.

He's been training with Fleetwood and travelled with them to Obertraun in Austria, Steve Cotterill's favoured training camp when he was Burnley manager. Jordan played in their first game over in Austria, against Bad Ischl.

Fleetwood travel into Germany tonight to face SV Wacker Burghausen at their home ground. Jordan won't play but ahead of the game Fleetwood confirmed he is Graham Alexander's eighth summer signing.

Finally, Dave Lynch, released last summer after one year as a professional, has stepped up in non-league football. He played for Burscough last season but for 2013/14 season will be with Workington who are in the Football Conference North where he will join up with Ben Hoskin who left Turf Moor in 2010.
