Caribbean Cup winner Dane Richards

In our previous international update over the weekend we reported that he'd played in their first two games in the competition against Martinique and Antigua & Barbuda. He's since played twice more with his country winning the competition.

They beat Haiti 2-0 to reach the final against Trinidad & Tobago. That ended 0-0 with Jamaica winning the penalty shoot out 4-3.

Our current players had to sit and watch last night. Matt Gilks was the unused goalkeeper in Scotland's 3-1 defeat to England and Cameron Howieson was again an unused substitute as New Zealand fell to a 2-0 defeat against Thailand in Bangkok.

Stephen Ward wasn't included for the Republic of Ireland in their comfortable 4-1 win against the USA in Dublin.

It was the same for former Clarets. Gabor Kiraly was an unused substitute for Hungary in their friendly defeat against Russia and Steven Fletcher didn't feature for Scotland although there was an ex-Claret in the England side.

Since that last update on Saturday, Gary Cahill has added his 32nd and 33rd caps. He played in the two 3-1 victories, against Slovenia at Wembley in Saturday's Euro qualifier and then last night in the win against Scotland.

Although he was an unused sub in Saturday's 1-1 away qualifying draw against Montenegro, Alex Kačaniklić was in the Sweden side beaten 1-0 last night by France in Marseille.

And it was in France that three current Burnley players all won their latest under-21 caps. Despite being 2-0 up England were beaten 3-2, bringing a run of 11 consecutive wins. Michael Keane and Nathaniel Chalobah both started, although Chalobah was forced off with an injury, while Danny Ings came on as a substitute.

The full caps won by Richards and Cahill have now been added to the Internationals feature which can be found in the Players drop down menu.
