He's been bailed alongside his team mate Bradley Wright-Phillips and the pair have already been disciplined by their club Southampton for being at the club but the police stepped in after allegations that bar staff had money and mobile phones stolen from hand bags in the staff room.

Hampshire police have confirmed that two men, aged 20 and 23, were bailed until 17th June at Portsmouth Central police station. Their club have remained silent on the issue at this time.

Dyer joined the Clarets as an 18-year-old during October 2005 in a loan deal from Southampton and was with us for just under two months. During that time he made five appearances, including one as a substitute, and scored two goals.
