Eric Binns passes away

Eric was signed by Burnley in 1949 but in six years with the club he played just fifteen games, either at right back or centre half, as he struggled to dislodge those in the first team.
In 1955 he moved on to our local rivals Blackburn Rovers where he played for two years before hanging up his boots. After football he continued to live in Burnley.
Our thoughts are very much with Eric's family and friends at this very sad time for them.
