Elliott is top man in Preston defeat

Wade Elliott
He's the leading player in the Championship for assists and in recent weeks has been moving up our table with a series of good performances, although this is the first time he's come out on top to take a maximum six points.

Again a goal came from one of his crosses, Kyle Lafferty giving us the lead in the first half, and Wade was the clear winner in our man of the match poll with 34.9% of the vote. That game him the three points with central defender winning two points for a second place with 17.1% of the vote whilst Chris McCann's 16.4% gave him the final point.

It was the same top two in the player ratings. Elliott claimed top spot with a rating of 6.86 out of ten whilst Unsworth was second with an average of 6.20 to give them another three and two points respectively. Lafferty was in third place in the player ratings, his average of 6.14 won him the final point.

Unsworth's points have brought him ever nearer to the top three whilst Elliott has continued his move up the table and has climbed three more places into that fifth position.
