Ebanks-Blake completes team

Kevin Phillips was the first striker to be named and the remaining fifteen goal scorers went back in for a second vote to find his partner. Ebanks-Blake had finished second in the first poll and went on to win the second with 24.9% of the vote.

Behind him was Sheffield United's James Beattie who claimed 20.5% and then came Fraizer Campbell of Hull with 19.3% of the vote.

It's been a good season for Ebanks-Blake. He started it with Plymouth but forced a move to Wolves in January against his club's wishes when Wolves triggered a clause in his contract meaning they had to accept the offer.

He ended the season as the Championship's leading scorer with 23 goals, 11 of them for Plymouth and 12 for Wolves although admittedly he did score a total of six penalties in those goals.
