Easton returns to Accies

Easton signed a three year contract with the Clarets last summer but has failed to break into the first team picture. He was in the side that won at Hartlepool in the Carling Cup back in August but hasn't featured since.

Stephen Jordan has been the regular first choice left back with Christian Kalvenes used as cover, but Easton has dropped further down the pecking order today with the capture of Danny Fox from Celtic.

He's taken the opportunity to return to Hamilton, for whom he played over one hundred games, and will hopefully get some games under his belt for them.

Manager Brian Laws said of the move: "He is a player who has got a good future ahead of him and I think it is important he gets as many games as he can. We have loaned him back to Hamilton and hopefully he will get a lot of games and we will monitor him.

"With Danny Fox coming in it is better to send Brian out on loan so that he gets that experience. He's delighted to do that because he wants to play. It's great for his education and development."
