Easton deal edging closer

Our interest in the Scotland Under-21 international has been public for a week or two and last week Accies' chairman Ronnie McDonald admitted his club were in negotiations with Burnley as the player spoke of his desire to move to Turf Moor.

His agent Willie McKay, he also represents Tyrone Mears, has said that Easton will travel to Burnley tomorrow and he expects him to be a Burnley player and on the flight to LA this Thursday.

The feel is believed to be £300,000 rising to £700,000 and McKay thinks he'll be a big hit in England saying: "He is a strong, fast, 6ft 2in left-back and there's not many of them about."

There is every chance that Easton might not be the only addition to the squad this week with Coyle hoping other deals will be completed in time for them to go to America with the squad.
