Easton could be next signing

Owen Coyle - maybe close to a deal for Easton
Manager Owen Coyle has been keen to bring in both the young Scottish players but Hamilton have turned down our offers.

Wolves making a move this week for James McCarthy, an offer we are unlikely to match, any move for the 18-year-old midfielder now looks to be dead. However, with Easton having made it clear he wants to come to Burnley it looks as though they might have now agreed to a deal.

Reports this morning suggest they are set to accept an offer of around £600,000 and that could see Easton become Coyle's fourth summer signing ahead of the Premier League season.

If the signing does go through he will provide competition for Christian Kalvenes and Stephen Jordan for the left back position.
