This time though it is the police who have moved the kick off, in much the same way that the Burnley v Sheffield Wednesday fixture was moved and the game, scheduled for 20th December the Saturday before Christmas, will now kick off at 12:30 p.m.
Once again there is no explanation given by the police although we are aware that there were problems at the corresponding fixture last season. Neither club has commented as yet, but Preston have confirmed the switch.
