David Edgar - won the most points from the Reading game
Eagles was, for the most part, the one player likely to create something for the Clarets Mad and once again he proved to be the man of the match winner with 37.4% of the vote.

Edgar, making his third appearance for the Clarets, one in each of three different competitions, had another good game in the centre of the defence alongside Michael Duff. That took him to second place with 26.0% whilst Brian Jensen, left with no chance with the goal, came third with 8.9% of the vote.

Eagles had to step aside for the other two with the player ratings where Edgar and Jensen were joint winners with a rating of 6.95 out of 10. Eagles took third place and his rating was 6.86.

Edgar therefore picked up five points to add to the three he won from the Manchester United game. Eagles and Jensen both won four points.

Eagles is now twelve points ahead of second place Steven Fletcher in the Player of the Year table, and he's no less than thirty points ahead of Andre Bikey who is third. Jensen has moved up to fourth place ahead of Tyrone Mears.
