A frantic 24 hours ended with him saying no to the SPL club after he'd spent Wednesday in Glasgow discussing terms with them after the two clubs had agreed a transfer fee, reported to have been in excess of £2 million.
The two clubs have confirmed that he failed to agree terms with them and at 7:00 p.m. the news was confirmed that he would not be joining Rangers and would be on Burnley's pre-season tour.
