Eagles scored our second goal in the second minute of stoppage time but in that last half hour he was very much the focus for the improvement in our play. Not only was he the man of the match but the clear winner of the player ratings on the message board.

He won the man of the match with 28.1% of the vote and that was just ahead of Wade Elliott who was second with 24.2%. Robbie Blake claimed third place with 13.9% of the vote.

The first two also took the top two places in the player ratings. Eagles had a rating of 7.13 out of 10 and that was ahead of Elliott whose rating was 6.88. Blake was pushed into fourth place in the ratings with right back Tyrone Mears taking third place with a rating of 6.38 out of 10.

Eagles gets six points in the Player of the Year Table, and there are four for Elliott with one each for Blake and Mears. The addition of these points have made little difference to the table but Mears does increase his lead at the top to three points.
