Chris Eagles
Such was his performance that he won both the man of the match vote and the player ratings convincingly and his share of the vote for the man of the match was the second highest received all season, behind only his own 79.2% from the Carling Cup win at Morecambe.

This time he polled 76.1% of the vote with Jack Cork the only other player to reach double figures with a 10.8% share. Danny Fox took third place with 4.2% of the vote.

The player ratings were no different with Eagles taking first place with a rating of 8.40 out of 10. Again it was the same two players behind him. Cork came second with a rating of 7.73 and Fox's rating of 7.30 out of 10 gave him third place.

It gives Eagles six points towards the Clarets Mad Player of the Year with Cork winning four points and Fox two points.

The points bring about no changes to the table other than to take the top two, Cork and Eagles, further clear although Cork's lead at the top was reduced by two points to seventeen.

Voting is currently still underway for the Doncaster game but will end tonight. Tomorrow evening will see the Norwich man of the match vote get underway.
