Dundee Utd manager Ian McCall - set to bring his team to the Turf
There is nothing definite as yet but Steve Cotterill is close to confirming a pre-season fixture against the Tangerines who ended last season in fifth place in the SPL.

Should it go ahead then it will be played before the Everton game with Saturday 17th July currently the proposed date.

This year’s friendly with Accrington Stanley also looks set to be in the Turf although there is no date for that fixture as yet. It shows the sort of progress that Stanley have made recently, it is only two years ago that we were still sending a reserve team to the Crown Ground.

It will be their first Turf Moor appearance for over then years since they went out of the FA Cup against Scunthorpe in 1994 after switching the game.

Cotterill is still hoping to add some more home games before the season, there seems to be no mention of Manchester United any longer, and he is still hoping to confirm a trip to Austria although nothing is definite.
