Duffy heads to Millwall

Richard Duffy
It's over four years since Welsh international Duffy was at Turf Moor, during which time he scored our winning goal against Leeds at Elland Road. Since then he's had a number of loan spells with Coventry and one with his first club Swansea City.

He's made only one appearance for Portsmouth in that time and recently was told he was free to find himself a new club by new boss Tony Adams. Millwall boss Kenny Jackett knows him well from Swansea, it was Jackett who sold him to Portsmouth, and has stepped him to take him to the Den.

He'll be hoping to impress enough during the last months of the season to try and win a longer term contract with his new club.
