Michael Duff
The central defensive pairing were in top form and comfortably kept the league's leading scorers at bay. It was Duff who won both the man of the match vote and the player ratings, and in both just ahead of Robbie Blake who was again in inspirational form further up the pitch.

Duff won the man of the match with 43.8% of the vote and Blake came second with 33.0%. They were a long way in front of anyone else and it was winning goalscorer Chris McCann who took third place with just 6.1% of the vote.

In the player ratings Duff recorded and excellent 9.25 out of 10 and again it was just ahead of Blake whose rating was 9.10. Caldwell took third place in the ratings with 8.45 out of 10.

That means Duff wins six points towards the player of the season, Blake gets four points and there's one point each for McCann and Caldwell.

The significant points are those won by Blake. He's now just six points behind leader Martin Paterson.

Voting continues until tomorrow night for the man of the match against Coventry. The poll, as always, is down the right hand column on the front page.
