They are two of five players he's sent off this season. The others are Chester's Paul Linwood in a 1-0 home defeat against Morecambe, Paul Konchesky of Fulham as they drew 0-0 against Derby at Craven Cottage and Blackburn's Ryan Nelsen during that recent wonderful game at Ewood when Aston Villa won 4-0.
That's five red cards and every one of them a home team player but the yellow cards follow the more usual pattern in terms of home and away. In twenty games he's yellow carded 58 players. Of those 22 have been home team players and 36 of them away team players.
One or two controversial decisions or not I'm not envisaging any problems with this referee tomorrow. In the past he's proved to be an excellent referee in Burnley games and I suspect should there be a handball in the box in the first seventy seconds tomorrow he will make an honest decision and give the penalty no matter what the consequences - unlike some.
The assistant referees tomorrow will be Simon Beck (Essex) and Mike Tingey (Buckinghamshire) whilst on fourth official duty will be Rob Shoebridge (Derbyshire) who refereed our recent win at Charlton where he had a good game and scored 78.2 in our Rate the Ref.
