Doncaster want Ade

Since winning promotion Doncaster have scored just seven league goals in fifteen games. Yesterday they even missed a late penalty taken by Paul Heffernan that would have given them a 1-0 win against Swansea and lifted them off the bottom.

Two of their strikers, James Hayter and former Claret Gareth Taylor, have failed to find the net this season and their joint top scorers have got two goals each.

Ade meanwhile hasn't featured for the Clarets since coming on as a substitute in the 2-0 win over Blackpool. He missed the following match at Swansea due to a back problem and the form of Jay Rodriguez has kept him out of the match day squad since.

Ade was featured in yesterday's match programme and heaped praise on Jay and accepted the fact that he had stepped above him, but said he would continue to play his part at Burnley for the rest of the season and would then see where his future lay.

Whether that involves a loan spell with the struggling Yorkshire club remains to be seen, but if he was to go I'm certain he wouldn't be allowed to play for them in three weeks time.
