Doncaster linked with two Clarets

Garreth O'Connor - could be on the move to Doncaster
O'Driscoll moved from Bournemouth to take over as manager of Doncaster in September last year and this week completed the signing of a second player from his Bournemouth team and now has both Garreth O'Connor and John Spicer in his sights.

He sold defender James O'Connor to Doncaster whilst still at Bournemouth last summer, and within days of taking over he took his former midfielder Brian Stock on loan from Preston and has since made that deal a permanent one. Yesterday he broke the club's transfer record to sign striker James Hayter and the Doncaster media are reporting he'll now target the two Clarets.

Neither Garreth nor Spice started a game last season, both had to settle for substitute appearances. Garreth was transfer listed at the end of the season and will almost certainly be looking for a new club. Spicer however has already turned down one chance to play in League One with Crewe and is much more likely to turn this opportunity down and remain with the Clarets for the last year of his contract.
