Sources close to the player suggest he would like the opportunity to join Burnley and it has now been reported by their local media that Dawson has submitted a transfer request which was immediately turned down by West Brom.
Dawson is expected to step up his attempts to get himself a move once the players return for pre-season training on 7th July.
