Cup tie gets go ahead

The game will be played at the second time of asking against the Pariahs parading in League Two under false pretences. They have won through to this tie with wins over Lewes and Fisher Athletic, both after extra time, and have dispensed with the services of youth team coach Adam Sinclair since those wins. New coach is Mike Dove.

For Burnley it has been something of an injury hit season but they will be hoping to have as many of their more experienced players available for tonight's game although they will be without regular central defender Tom Blackler, who has been out for much of the season.

Connor Smith, captain, and scorer of the late goal that gave us that exciting win against Fulham last season will be hoping to lead the young Clarets to victory and a home tie early in the New Year against Luton Town who got through with a 1-0 home win against Huddersfield last week.

Kick off tonight is at 7:00 p.m. and admission is £3 adults, £1 concessions. If you haven't been to the Arbories before, from Burnley drive through Padiham to the fork at the top of the hill. Turn right into Holland Street and then Well Street by the right hand sid of the Hare and Hounds. The ground is at the top of Well Street.
