Coyne gets World Cup call up

With our division no longer having fixtures in international weeks he won’t miss any games for the Clarets as he joins the Welsh squad for their games against Azerbaijan and Northern Ireland.

The first of these games will be played on Saturday 4th September against Azerbaijan in Baku before they return to take on the Irish in Cardiff on Wednesday 8th September.

The second game could see him up against another Claret in Michael Duff should he be selected following his substitute appearance last night.

Mark Hughes has named a squad of 27 and again Coyne is one of four goalkeepers in the squad which is in full:
