Coyne called up

His inclusion is good news for Burnley should we need a replay against Bournemouth in the FA Cup, with both Gary Cahill and Richard Chaplow called up for England duty it means we can now get it postponed.

The Welsh take on Hungary at the Millennium Stadium on Wednesday 9th February and the only other keeper in Toshack’s squad is Fulham’s Mark Crossley who played in the last game.

Coyne should be back in action tonight in the reserve game at home at Accrington and this will be his first action since he was stretchered off at QPR having conceded a third goal. He will hopefully get the nod from Toshack to play in this game.

The full squad is:

Danny Coyne (Burnley), Mark Crossley (Fulham), Danny Collins (Sunderland), Rob Edwards (Wolves), Danny Gabbidon (Cardiff), Robert Page (Cardiff), David Partridge (Motherwell), Sam Ricketts (Swansea), Gareth Roberts (Tranmere), Rhys Weston (Cardiff), Simon Davies (Tottenham), Carl Fletcher (West Ham), Ryan Giggs (Manchester United), Jason Koumas (West Brom), Carl Robinson (Sunderland), Robbie Savage (Blackburn), Gavin Williams (West Ham), Craig Bellamy (Newcastle), Robert Earnshaw (West Brom), John Hartson (Celtic).
