Coyne back for Wales

Danny hasn't played any competitive football since his cruciate ligament injury in September of last year and last played for his country at the beginning of that month in a World Cup qualifier against Poland in Warsaw.

Toshack surprisingly called him back into the squad in August, a move that angered Steve Cotterill with his goalkeeper still not fit, but four weeks ago the Burnley boss admitted there was a possibility of getting him out on loan to get some games and even suggested that it was a pity last month's internationals hadn't come a month later.

Ipswich Town's Lewis Price is ruled out with a rib injury and Paul Jones is missing for personal reasons, although it is unlikely that Jones would have played following his last performance. RK Sunderland's Darren Ward has also been called up, for the first time in three years, but neither he nor Danny are expected to play in Wrexham with Toshack likely to select Blackburn's former Gillingham keeper Jason Brown.

The full squad is: Jason Brown (Blackburn), Danny Coyne (Burnley), Darren Ward (RK Sunderland), Gareth Bale (Southampton), James Collins (West Ham), Richard Duffy (Portsmouth, on loan at Coventry), Danny Gabbidon (West Ham), Craig Morgan (Franchise, on loan at Wrexham), Lewin Nyatanga (Derby, on loan at RK Sunderland), Sam Ricketts (Hull), Andrew Crofts (Gillingham), Simon Davies (Everton), Carl Fletcher (Crystal Palace), Owain Tudor Jones (Swansea), Jason Koumas (West Brom), Joe Ledley (Cardiff), Carl Robinson (Norwich), David Vaughan (Crewe), Craig Bellamy (Liverpool), David Cotterill (Wigan), Craig Davies (Hellas Verona, on loan at Wolves), Robert Earnshaw (Norwich), Ryan Giggs (Manchester Utd), Chris Llewellyn (Wrexham), Paul Parry (Cardiff).
