Coyle gets job

It's been all change since last night when it looked odds on that Reid had landed the job. Betting had been stopped, and as news broke around the town the only discussion seemed to be who he would be bringing in as his assistant boss.

Today is a new day, and it now looks certain that Reid has not been offered it. He himself has said that he's been contacted by the Clarets who have informed him that they intend to appoint the current St. Johnstone boss Coyle.

It is thought that with Coyle under contract we will have to pay compensation of around £150,000 to land him. It looks as though we can expect this appointment to be confirmed soon.
