Coyle back in for O'Dea

It looks certain that Coyle will do all he can to bring in new players to bolster a defence that has now conceded no fewer than twenty goals in the last eleven games since early December.

The 21-year-old O'Dea from Dublin is certainly known to one Burnley player having played alongside Chris McCann at Home Farm. Whilst Chris made his way to Burnley his team mate O'Dea joined Celtic.

He made his first team debut at the beginning of the 2006/07 season but has never been able to establish himself as a regular first team player although he does have one SPL winners medal from that first season and has also played Champions League football.

He's been capped several times at Under-21 level for the Republic of Ireland and has more recently been called into the full squad following the appointment of Giovanni Trapattoni although he is still to make his full debut.

It is thought Coyle is looking to bring the young defender in on loan, and being a cross border move would have to be for the rest of the season should it go through.
