Coxy back after six weeks

Ian Cox - back in the side for the suspended Arthur Gnohere
Arthur collected his fifth yellow card of the season in the 2-1 defeat at Watford and he has to sit out today’s game along with Mark McGregor who was sent off in the same game.

Stan has said that Coxy will return saying that he is a fit lad and would be able to slot straight back in. He also said with Andy Payton being the only other player unavailable he will have seventeen to choose from.

There are unlikely to be many if any other changes from last week and I expect us to line up: Marlon Beresford, Dean West, Steve Davis, Ian Cox, Graham Branch, Glen Little, Paul Weller, Paul Cook, Lee Briscoe, Robbie Blake, Gareth Taylor.

That would mean the subs being selected from Gordon Armstrong, Tony Grant, Alan Moore, Brad Maylett, Ian Moore, Dimitri Papadopoulos.

The big news at Rotherham this week is that three players have left the club. It started with Rhodri Jones and he was followed by Chris Beech and Jose Miranda. Jones and Miranda have not featured regularly but Beech was used as a sub at Ipswich last week.

Rotherham changed their tried and trusted system of 4-4-2 in that game at Portman Road that they won 2-1 but Ronnie Moore has said that he will more than likely go back to their familiar pattern and style today.

He has had players out recently through injury and illness but it looks as though everything could be cleared up for today. Andy Monkhouse made a return to the squad from injury last week but sat the game out on the subs bench whilst Darren Garner and Guy Branston are available again after illness.

Another out injured last week was Marvin Bryan and he too is expected to return. The loss of players last week allowed John Mullin to get his first game in some weeks but it remains to be seen whether he will retain his place in the side today.

Rotherham will select from: Mike Pollitt, Rob Scott, Paul Hurst, Chris Swailes, Chris Sedgwick, Nick Daws, Stewart Talbot, Martin McIntosh, John Mullin, Alan Lee, Richie Barker, Ian Gray, Darren Byfield, Andy Monkhouse, Paul Warne, Darren Garner, Marvin Bryan and Guy Branston.
