Cox in Nationwide Team of the Week

Last week, with no First Division matches, there was no League Team of the Week but both Kevin Ball and Ian Moore won places in the FA Cup Team of the Week. It's back to the league this week though and captain Ian Cox has deservedly won a place in this week's Division One team.

Coxy was outstanding at the back for the Clarets on Saturday and on the couple of occasions when Wimbledon did put us under some pressure his leadership of the defence ensured no slip ups.

The full team this week is: Kevin Miller (Barnsley), Darren Moore (West Bromwich Albion), Robert Page (Sheffield United), Ian Cox (Burnley), Chris Morgan (Barnsley), Damien Francis (Wimbledon), Michael Tongue (Sheffield United), Jermaine Jenas (Nottingham Forest), Lee Sharpe (Bradford City), Iffy Onuora (Gillingham), Jason Roberts (West Bromwich Albion).

I did think Ian Moore was worth a place but understood it is difficult to choose strikers when your team fails to score. So they go and choose Onuora and Roberts when neither of their sides scored.
