Courtney says no to Kidderminster

It was right on the transfer deadline last summer that he joined Burnley in a £25,000 deal from AFC Telford but he's struggled to break into the team and made just one start during last season, deputising for Michael Duff at right back in the 3-2 away win at Luton.

He was only able to add a few substitute appearances to that one start and from mid November he made just one appearance, coming on in a late change during the 2-1 defeat at Ipswich.

He looked set to rejoin former coach Mark Yates, now manager at Kidderminster, but his agent has advised him not to take the offer, believing there to be a better one round the corner. There's still over a month of the transfer window left and it now looks as though Courtney could be the first of the four to leave, even if it is not Kidderminster.
