Courtney becomes a Saint
New Saints MD Mike Harris said of their new signing: “We are delighted to have signed Duane and are committed to the development of young players at our club. Duane was impressed by our training camp at Ellesmere and our ongoing state-of-the-art facilities at Oswestry, which compare more than favourably with those he has experienced in the Championship.
“He believes that joining us is a major step forward in developing his football career.”
Courtney said that he sees the league, with its route into European competitions, as an ideal shop window in which to develop his career and showcase his talent.
Maybe he'll be dancing in the streets of New Saints come the end of the season.
