Cotterill charged

Tomorrow we will be without Eric Djemba-Djemba, he's suspended for one game after getting himself two yellow cards in the space of a few minutes. They looked harsh but by this stage in the game Riley was definitely headline hunting.

He'd already sent off Derby manager Billy Davies, that was his second dismissal in successive league games. Davies did admit he was swearing at the officials but he's been let off by the Football Association who will be taking no action against him.

Not so Steve Cotterill who at the time said he didn't swear but he expected the charge to come up including ‘improper words'. Today the FA have charged him with abusive and/or insulting words towards an opposing player.

That player is former Claret Mo Camara, who whilst watching all this must have still been amazed he was allowed to stay on the field after raising his hands to Joey Gudjonsson just a few minutes into the game.

I think a lot of people who were at the game on Tuesday, already baffled by the decision making of Riley, will be further confused today that one manager, who admits to swearing, sees no action taken against him, whilst the other one is charged.
