Cort to join Preston North End

The deal was initially discussed a few weeks ago between the clubs, but with injury problems at the time in defence at Turf Moor there was no possibility of any of the central defenders going out.

Now, it looks as though there is a good chance that Cort could make the move today in an emergency loan deal.
