That's because of the changes at Bramall Lane today that have seen Port Vale boss Micky Adams take over as manager following Gary Speed's decision to become manager of Wales.

John Carver has been acting as caretaker manager but he's now left the club as has former Burnley assistant manager Sam Ellis. In their place, Adams has appointed Jack's dad Alan Cork who has been out of work since the current Bolton manager dispensed with his services last January.

Sheffield United were one of three Championship clubs without a manger along with ourselves and Preston with Adams being their third permanent manager this season.

His place in the visiting dug out at Turf Moor will come one week earlier than expected - had he not taken this job he would have been in charge of Port Vale for the FA Cup tie on 8th January.
