Clash of the form teams in Youth Cup

It’s an away tie for the youngsters and the game will be played at the Kingston Communications Stadium in the next month and it promises to be a tough game with both sides having started the season well.

We have won every game so far, be it league or cup, and lead the Youth Alliance North West Conference whilst Hull are in second place in the North East Conference, having won eight of their ten league games to date.

Their only league defeat was at home to Rotherham, a side we beat in the Youth Alliance Cup, and they went out of that particular competition to Tranmere, a side we are still to play this season.

Although the Alliance League and Cup are moving towards Under-18 competitions they still permit a limited number of under-19 players but that will hardly affect the Clarets with only Marc Pugh in the higher age group, and he is currently away from the club on loan to Kidderminster.

There’s no date as yet for the game but is likely to be a midweek date and has to be played in the next four weeks.
