Clarets will not have a Penny

Yesterday I saw Gabor Kiraly driving up Manchester Road in his mini, he's been training alone in Burnley because of visa problems and I bet it comes as no surprise to anyone to hear that Diego Penny won't be making it to the second game either.

The club revealed, at the eleventh hour, that visa delays meant he wouldn't be there for the first game against Cary Railhawks, that it would be weekend before he arrived. Then they said there had been a further delay meaning he would meet up with them in Blaine ahead of the second game.

By then I think we'd all realised what would happen and this morning's news that there have been further delays comes as no surprise at all. He won't make it, Jensen will be in goal, and so we wait until this weekend in Scotland and the hope that our new goalkeeper finally joins the squad.

It is happen as well there were no problems with Jensen, as there have been with Kiraly, Penny and of course Berisha getting in there. Otherwise we might have had to borrow John Spicer from Doncaster for the tour.
