Owen Coyle - wants both Easton and McCarthy
It has been reported that we have made a bid of around £1 million for the young midfielder McCarthy which was turned down by the Hamilton board, and now defender Brian Easton has been added to Coyle's shopping list.

The 21-year-old has already played over 100 league games for his club and has represented Scotland at both under-21 and B level. He's already attracted interest from Derby boss Nigel Clough.

McCarthy still remains very much a target as the Clarets look to add to the squad for the new Premier League season. The 18-year-old, like Easton, has just enjoyed a full season in the SPL following their club's promotion last year.
